Some people live by the creed “Summer Bodies are Made in the Winter”, my body, however has been finely crafted by my good friends Pinot and Grigio.   As such, I am not about to strut around in broad daylight, or the dark of night for that matter, in my bikini briefs.  Thus begins the art of the cover-up.

This is a delicate dance.  You have to wear enough clothing to cover up the rough spots and you have to show enough skin to give the illusion that the sight of your own body doesn’t disgust you.

Enter the sarong.  I am freaking loving the City Style Graphic Print Sarong from New York and Company for $24.95.  It’s only available online, but it comes in a basic black and white or cool orange and grey and is so pretty people will actually think you are wearing it to be stylish, not because under it, your body looks like it was coated in rice pudding.

For sarong tying instructions check out this video.  If you can get past the come hither looks from the underage Hawaiian girls, you will learn how to tie a sarong in 25 ways, including how to make  swim trunks out of a manrong for your product prince.

Rating: 3 Carats.  Love this print, I might order more and make curtains.
