Feeling a little parched from my travails and with Pearl’s wholehearted recommendation, I decided to disembark from the Pinot Grigio train and expand my libational repertoire.   Feeling very Boris Yeltsin, I made my into the local ABC store and proceeded directly to the vodka section.    Ignoring the “regulars” there for their weekly date with “Jack,” I picked up a lovely little frosted carafe of cherry goodness designed to make all my cares disappear into the hazy distance.   To my delight, Three Olives Cherry Vodka did not disappoint.  The cherry addition to a traditional liquor staple makes a drink that ladies and confused metrosexuals alike are sure to appreciate.

If you are looking to get a little Myrtle Beach drunk, try mixing some Three Olives and Sprite Zero with a squeeze of lime.   The Redneck Riviera never tasted so good.

Just in case you needed something else to make you sorry it’s Monday.  Click here to take Dr. Oz’s Beauty Test.  Basically you are asked a series of questions that determine if you are happy with your skin and body or if you would sell your first born for a lifetime supply of botox and lipo.  I answered honestly and according to Dr. Oz I’ve got one foot in the grave and another in the proverbial banana peel…aesthetically speaking.

I can’t help but think Mehmet is trying to make me feel bad so I buy his new book “Beautiful You”.  I am shocked and appalled at his manipulations*.  Does he think I am that easy and insecure?  That just because he’s Oprah’s doctor that I am going to buy into every little thing he says?  Please. Just try to convince me that  getting all my liquids from Diet Coke and discount jugs of Pinot Grigio is a bad idea.  It’s done wonders for my skin and waist line so far.  And how can you trust a doctor with a stage name anyways?  ”Dr.” Oz, the man behind the curtain went to med school.  Whatever.  I hate Mondays.
